International Sales Area Manager - Asia
We are looking for a Sales Area Manager - Asia.
Part of your MISION will be to develop sales, market penetration and branding, demand plans, as well as monitoring profitability (P&L) of the accounts; under the guidelines of the International Sale Director.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with existing partners to develop sales, market penetration, and branding as well as monitoring profitability (P&L) of the accounts.
- Aligning different departments (Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Production and Procurement, as well as Quality Control) to each single market.
- Keeping close and thorough market follow-ups about consumer behaviour, latest trends, and competitor activity [special focus on online market platforms and digital environment, as well offline].
- Ensuring that local business partners are following brand global protocols.
- Assisting in adapting the company’s portfolio and marketing claims to local regulatory regulation in the assigned markets (FDA’s amongst others).
- Promoting regular smooth and efficient communication between headquarter and local partners.
- Closely monitoring Demand Plans and coordinating with Demand Plans responsible
- Following up on sell-out and stock levels at the partner’s end.
- Developing new business opportunities in new markets (prospections) as well as in existing ones.
- Attending and organizing exhibitions and fairs.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- University diploma or equivalent (BBA and/or MBA will be a plus).
- Previous experience as an Area Manager in the field will be an added value.
- Language skills: English (professional level), Spanish (professional level where foreigner). The knowledge of an additional language will be valued.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and with collaborative “can-do attitude”.
- Availability to travel.
